Thanks so much for your com...Hey, Miss Meg March!
Thanks so much for your comment! Comments on older posts make me so happy:D How did your holidays go? I hope they were great:)
Yeah, it's tough. They're both great characters!
Oh my word, TLG was absolutely the BEST part of that movie. Definitely:D
Heehee, it wasn't rude! I'm just too indecisive to try to figure out which one I prefer;)
Aww, thanks so much! That's so sweet. Ooh, your poem is great! And you wrote that when you were 12? Wow! I doubt I'd be able to compose a comparable poem at 12. I especially liked the lines, "The wind on their backs, the spark in their eyes/The green of the grass and the blue of the sky/Dust in their manes and foam on their sides/As northward the herd of wild horses ride."
Oh, Les Mis is amazing. I'm not as fond of it as I should be, but the MUSIC is gorgeous and inspiring.
You're in a family of eight, too? That's so cool!:D
Isn't piano awesome?
Haha, it's fun cosplaying with friends, isn't it? Yay for unnamed elves *high five*
Weren't those Robin Hood questions wonderfully hard to answer? I actually really enjoyed them, though:D
No, thank you so much for your long comment! I loved it:)Oliviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03546655886492251059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7624597359174394097.post-91727440873062156452015-05-22T06:24:23.931-04:002015-05-22T06:24:23.931-04:00Hey Olivia,
I didn't know whether to comment o...Hey Olivia,
I didn't know whether to comment or not because you published this ages ago. I was on holidays for the past weeks so that's why I didn't comment sooner. :) This will be rather random and disjointed, but I was hoping to 'comment' on all your 3 answer posts.
I thought you may have liked Faramir better, but I wanted to see for myself. ;) I can't decide which of them I like better. I just like them both for different reasons, really - they're so different, with their strengths and weaknesses!
As to The Last Goodbye all I have to say it YES YES YES. It's just so perfect. I think that was the most touching part of the movie for me, hehe. ;)
Haha, sorry I didn't mean to be rude. ;P Mr. Darcy's frown is rather intimidating, isn't it?
Oh, thanks so much for showing us your poetry! They're fantastic! I especially like the storm one. Sure, I'll show you one, although mine are quite different. It took me awhile to decide on one because I have written a lot, but I think this one will always be a favourite of mine:
Smooth, shiny bodies with dark, flowing manes,
Wild horses running, restricted by no reins.
Onward they move, their ears held high,
As the earth underfoot just passes them by.
The thunder of their hooves upon the solid ground,
The snorting of their noses and numerous other sounds.
The wind on their backs, the spark in their eye,
The green of the grass and the blue of the sky.
Dust in their manes and foam on their sides,
As northward, the herd of wild horses ride.
I wrote that when I was......12? (I hadn't studied writing poetry either, I just decided I wanted to write some. :P) That was a few years back, if you're wondering. ;D
Phantom of the Opera is my second favourite musical, the first being Les Miserables! I am rather alone in my liking for POTO (with people I know face-to-face, you know ;D) so it's harder for me to enjoy it sometimes. ;)
I understand being half in half - I've decided I'm a girly girl though, although that doesn't mean I'm afraid to get my hands dirty!
I'm in a family of 8 too! (I am the third youngest/fourth eldest.) I wear skirts and pants too. :D
I play piano also, although I'm only in 2nd grade (for leisure, so far). I love it though!
Oh, elvish! I'm impressed! ;) I've dressed up for the Hobbit too with siblings and friends. We did a lot of sewing and used our creative skills, hehe. I went as an unnamed elf too. :D
I agree, a Knight's Tale is kind of weird. ;P
I'm so glad I don't have to answer those BBC Robin Hood questions - they would be like, IMPOSSIBLE to answer. :P
I was about to apologize for the long comment, but thought better of it. ;) (And I tried to comment just before this but as I was about to publish it I accidentally deleted it so I had to start anew. *sigh* Oh the joys of technology.)
~Miss Meg March
P.S. Just to clarify, I'm not the other "Miss March" who has recently started a blog. Just so you don't confuse 'us', hehe. I'm not from America either (as you can probably tell by my spelling). I'm from the land Down Under. ;)
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7624597359174394097.post-52204824840485083962015-05-08T20:40:14.280-04:002015-05-08T20:40:14.280-04:00Thank you so much! I don't think I used the word 'impotent' correctly-- what I meant to say was 'omnipotent'. ;-)

Weeel....I'm not sure if I'll read any of the sequels. Part of me kind of wants to just read it and leave it at that, but then part of me wants to read everything else Larry McMurtry's ever written. His writing is SO good, but there's also a lot I could do without. So we'll see. ;-) I have read his Telegraph Days, though, and I absolutely loved that (though there was some, *ahem* content). We have a rather interesting relationship, McMurtry and I. ;-P

Oooh, I'll definitely check out Evita!!!

~EmmaEmma Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00215503772898813587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7624597359174394097.post-12990071321247250512015-05-03T21:37:28.087-04:002015-05-03T21:37:28.087-04:00Loved reading all your questions and answers! IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY. :) I don't think I've seen The Coal Miner's Daughter, but it sounds awesome! I'll have to look it up!

You're almost done!!! That's awesome! Are you planning on reading any of the sequels?

Yeeess, watch Evita!!! Okay, so, the problem is...there is some stuff in it. She wasn't exactly the most moral of women (of course, there were some circumstances, though). BUT once you get past those parts, it's absolutely awesome. It's a bit confusing and unclear at times (and just weird), but I love it:D Oh, and if the movie makes me cry THREE TIMES, it's good;) I mean, I hardly ever cry in movies, but this one did it to me. Yes, DCfMA is from Evita:) (But the thing is, no one ever warns you that she sings that song twice, and the second time you'll be crying, and--shutting up.)

Isn't it a neat verse?:)

Aww! Thanks so much! I really appreciate it:D

Haha, I understand. Ooh, Clara was one of my favorites too! ... That's awesome that you want to be a nurse!

Woodrow? Really? Okay, I'm a leetle surprised....but then when I read what you wrote, not at all. Yup, Woodrow's awesome. He's hard and tough and all that, but deep down he cares. AND NEWT IS TOTALLY WOODROW'S SON. There is no debate over that in my book. :-) (Seriously, though, Gus knows, and if Gus knows that does it for me.)

Gaahhh, the part when Woodrow beats the nasty cavalry officer. My daddy says that's the best part in the whole movie. :-) "I hate rude behavior in a man. Won't tolerate it." Tommy Lee Jones is sooooo awesome. Definitely one of my favorites. (Btw, have you seen him in The Coal Miner's Daughter? SUCH a good movie, and he's so amazing.)

One more LD comment...I'm actually almost done with the book. You'll be hearing about it when I am. :-D

I want to see Evita! I don't know hardly anything about it, but another friend of mine really likes it too. Is that where the song 'Don't Cry For Me, Argentina' is from?

I love your Bible verse. :-) Such simple, yet impotent words.

And I have to say once again, your poetry is lovely! So deep-down cozy and heart-singing. It's a variety of things. Some is definitely people's attitude toward life. There's definitely a nursing humor that's not always clean and you learn way more about some things than you would ever want to know. ;) It's definitely awkward caring for guys the first few times but you get used to it for the most part.
