Disclaimers

Disclaimer #1:  I do not endorse all content in all the movies, books, and television shows I review on this blog.  Sometimes, if a story has a significant amount of mature or problematic content, I'll mention it in my review; but not always.  Use your own discretion and feel free to ask me if you're unsure of the content in a particular book, movie, etc.

Disclaimer #2:  In that vein, please be mindful of the fact that I've been operating this blog for several years.  A lot can change in a person's worldview in that time, and this blog is no exception.  Older posts, especially, may contain opinions or attitudes that I no longer hold.  I am trying to edit or remove posts that contain particularly harmful statements.  For old friends, this may mean that you see certain reviews, posts, etc. disappearing.  If you go to find something that's no longer there, just know that its absence may not necessarily mean that I am retracting everything I said in that post — rather, I am trying to decide which issues I want to address on this blog and which I do not.  Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. 💛

(Also, on a lighthearted note, many of my older posts are . . . high on enthusiasm and low on polish, shall we say.  Hopefully, the cringy-ness that you may find in the dark bowels of this blog will not color your opinion of me too severely. 😂)

Disclaimer #3:  The vast majority of pictures on this blog do not belong to me in any way.  Occasionally I will include a photograph I've taken, or an edit I've made with preexisting screencaps, but most of my stuff just comes from Pinterest.  #trueconfessions

Disclaimer #4:  I reference various stories quite often.  Sometimes I enclose these references with quotation marks and sometimes I don't. 😛

  1. I have watched Leap Year and Letters to Juliet. It is true some parts are not appropriate. I love that in Letters to Juliet the guy (I forgot his name) says, "Oh, for she comes!" In a sing song voice. It is the best part!

    2. I do agree they are great movies! I wish someone would like re-do the movie, and take out in-appropriate parts. Wouldn't that be nice?

    3. (Whoops, why has it taken me so long to respond to this?)

Anyway, YES! I agree, Bella. LtJ is ALMOST perfect, but there are so many others that would be SO GOOD if only there weren't so much innuendo and swearing :-/

  2. I think that was the first chick-flick I saw. The second actually being Leap Year. I love the whole bit (in Leap Year) where Declan is making fun of Anna because she named her suitcase. :)

Comments make my day. Seriously. I'd be so happy if you commented. :)

I've gotten really bad about replying in a timely manner, but it's always my intention to do so eventually. (Even though it doesn't always happen. ;))
