Disclaimers

Disclaimer #1:  I do not endorse everything in all the movies, books, and television shows I review on this blog.  For example, I don't watch a ton of chick-flicks, but I have come across a few cute ones that, while they contain either a few moments or elements of inappropriate humor or sin, do not flesh out the content to unnecessary lengths (for example, Leap Year or Letters to Juliet).  The fact that I watch these movies and enjoy them does NOT mean that I agree with premarital sex, swearing, etc. in any way whatsoever.  I believe those things are wrong and contrary to God's Word.  But, as I said before, this content is not the over-arching theme of the movies.

Disclaimer #2:  The vast majority of pictures on this blog do not belong to me in any way.  Sometimes I will include a photograph I've taken, or an edit I've made with preexisting screencaps, but most of my stuff just comes from Pinterest.  #trueconfessions  So, you know, I'm not trying to steal or anything--I freely admit I don't own most pictorial content.  Don't want anybody suing me or anything. :P

Disclaimer #3:  I reference various stories very often.  I'm trying to get better about enclosing any slightly less-obvious references with quotation marks, but sometimes I don't.  I just love a ton of stories and so I reference a ton of stories.  I can't always come up with such witticisms off me own head, dontcha know :D

  1. I have watched Leap Year and Letters to Juliet. It is true some parts are not appropriate. I love that in Letters to Juliet the guy (I forgot his name) says, "Oh, for she comes!" In a sing song voice. It is the best part!

    2. I do agree they are great movies! I wish someone would like re-do the movie, and take out in-appropriate parts. Wouldn't that be nice?

    3. (Whoops, why has it taken me so long to respond to this?)

Anyway, YES! I agree, Bella. LtJ is ALMOST perfect, but there are so many others that would be SO GOOD if only there weren't so much innuendo and swearing :-/

  2. I think that was the first chick-flick I saw. The second actually being Leap Year. I love the whole bit (in Leap Year) where Declan is making fun of Anna because she named her suitcase. :)
