Happy Valentine's Day

Love is patient,

love is kind.

It does not envy,

it does not boast,

it is not proud.

It is not rude,

it is not self-seeking,

it is not easily angered,

it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil

but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects,

always trusts,

always hopes,

always perseveres.

Love never fails.

  3. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Okay, this was way prettier and more beautiful than I thought it would be when I clicked the link.

These verses are impeccable. People sometimes wonder what 'true love' is. Well, the answer is in those verses. :-)

  5. Valentine's Day . . .

    *happy sigh*

This post is BEAUTIFUL. You done it again, my friend ;-)

And I love how you used the St. Paul verses. 'Cause, like Naomi said, THAT is the real definition of "true love."

    My favorites are . . . mmmmmmmmmmmm . . . I think Tom + Sung Foo, and Aragorn + Arwen. Love those choices :-) "It always protects . . ." YESSSSSSSSSSS.

You know, I can't help wishing there were clips of "Broken Trail" on YouTube so I could watch at least a LITTLE bit. Because I don't feel comfortable with watching the whole movie (I mean, I'm afraid that I might find parts of it too harsh or something), but I really really REALLY want to see at least something of Tom and Sung Foo. Because they look too adorable for words. Seriously. They do.

    1. Awww, thanks, Jessica! You're too kind ;D

      Yes! I thought it'd be nice :)

GAAAAAHHH, YESH. Those are two of my very favorites, too ;)

Ooh, ooh! I found ONE clip for you:

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVX98yqqr7M&list=PL2jGwGpRYwZo-Bw1M-Phk1quNeTXeYgDQ&index=2

It's just a very brief glimpse of what Tom is like…he's a fierce protector, and he stands up for this guy who's being antagonized for playing his fiddle. And him's beautiful, just sayin' <3 I really love Tom, as you know :) YES THEY ARE LIKE THE CUTEST THINGS IN THE WORLD. I just…no words. None at all.

And I understand about not wanting to watch the whole movie…it IS very intense. I was concerned about it first too, but I was actually able to handle it, surprisingly. There are a couple scenes that I wouldn't see again, however, namely a suicide scene that's really tragic and just too hard for me to watch.

    2. Okay, so . . . I watched the clip. And then I found two other clips and I watched them. And . . .

      I'm in love, basically.

I mean, like, GAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HIS FACE AND EYES ARE SO SAAAAAAAAAD. And the way he stands up for the poor fiddler . . . and EVERYTHING . . . Yeah. Basically. That's my baby right there. :-)

How is it that you and I have the same tastes about practically EVERYTHING???? I don't know. But I do know it's really cool :-)

Needless to say, I may be re-considering my decision not to watch this movie ;-)

    3. GAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH

We've talked. BUT SERIOUSLY IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY THAT YOU'RE IN LOVE AS I AM. Is he not like the most amazing…gah. I need to stop before I totally throw away any persona of maturity at all ;D

I know! It's crazy, but awesome, that we're so similar :D

    OLIVIA!!!!!

This post!!!!! You completely and totally blew me away with this!! I was mentally screaming when reading this because it's SO GORGEOUS.
    Ohhh myyy. Goodness.

I don't know all the couples on this post, but I love how you fit the lines of the verses with the photos. Especially the verses "love is patient" to "it is not proud". Anne and Gil, Kit and Cinderella (!!), ROBIN AMD MARIAN, Han and Leia, Henry and Danielle....

AND FARAMIR/EOWYN AND ARWEN/ARAGORN AT THE BOTTOM WITH THE LINES ABOUT HOPING AND PERSEVERING.

Olivia, this post is perfection. I'm going to save it so I can look at it again and again.

In case my exuberance seems rather over the top, trust me that I truly was as excited by this post as my comment makes it seem. I LOVE IT.

  12. Thank you for writing this post. The pictures made it even more lovely.

I kind of laughed at the first picture of love with patient with Anne and Gilbert. After waiting about 6 hour to see them get together, I would have to say that Gilbert was definitely patient. :-)

The last picture was perfect. Thank you for reminding me of the person who loves us most.

They just FIT and BELONG together. And LOOK, LOOK Sherlock is SMILING!!!!! Oh, excuse me while I fade away out of pure exhaustion from all this perfection....
Hmm...looks like James McAvoy....not seen that one. :P
    HAVEN'T SEEN LETTERS TO JULIET....YET. (Haha...sink me! ;P)
Oh, I saw part of You've Got Mail!! It made me actually like Tom Hanks. :D
