Legends of Western Cinema Week || GIVEAWAY

Giveaways always add a little extra oomph to a blog party, so I'm pleased to announce that Heidi, Hamlette, and I are ALL hosting individual ones this year!!

To enter Heidi's, click here; and for Hamlette's, here.

To ONE giveaway winner, I will send three works of Western literature: True Grit (by Charles Portis), Riders of the Purple Sage (by Zane Grey), and To Tame a Land (by Louis L'Amour).

All three are used and in good condition, though the L'Amour book does have some creases in the cover.

Giveaway open to U.S. residents only.

I will select a winner on either the 27th or the 28th.  To enter, simply comment on this post expressing your interest and include your email address so that I can contact you if you win.  (If you do not feel comfortable leaving your email address on this public page, you can publish your comment and then immediately delete it.  I will still receive the comment, but no one else will be able to see it.)

Good luck to one and all! ;)

  1. It is my experience that all copies of L'Amour feature comfortable creases.

    1. Caftan Woman, yes! The best ones have been read already. I've been known to replace a shiny newer copy with a somewhat worn one from the thrift store because I like them better for both L'Amour and Grey.

    2. You know what, yes. That is true and I like it. :)

    1. Haha! I own TTAL and I don't care for the other two so I'm not too disappointed about this giveaway being US only.

    3. Hamlette and Eva, oh, dear! I'm sorry I've inadvertently excluded both of you, but I'm glad we're all still friends anyway. ;D ;D

    4. I take this as a sign that you and I have very similar taste in western books, that's all.

  4. Oh! I'd love to be entered here! I don't have True Grit or the L'Amour and would love to add them to my library!

    1. Awesome! The True Grit copy is especially fun; I don't even love the book all that much but I briefly considered hanging on to it myself. xD

  5. Ooh, I haven't read any of these yet... I'm a bit late, but I would like to be entered in the giveaway if I still could!

Comments make my day. Seriously. I'd be so happy if you commented. :)

I've gotten really bad about replying in a timely manner, but it's always my intention to do so eventually. (Even though it doesn't always happen. ;))
