The Just-a-list-of-random-questions Tag
Naomi has created a cute tag, and has tagged me! Thanks a bunch, dearie:)
In 'Return to Cranford' Miss Matty gets a turban. What do you think of her in a turban?
Did you get fooled this year on April the 1st?
Do you think it's rude when girls re-do their whole hairstyle in public?
What's your least favourite song in 'The Sound of Music?'
Do you chew your inside cheeks when you're thinking?
Your how-many-ienth post is this?
What's your favourite Dickens movie?
What should you be doing right now?
Look at all the sweet pink!
Here are the rules as per Naomi's instructions:
~ Paste the button onto your blog post.
~ Leave a new list of questions (or just pass on the question list you answered) and tag a few people of your random choice (and say why you tagged them, if you have time!) (Be original and nonsensical in your question-creativity - make the blogging world a cheerful place :-) And be disastrously random.)
~ Leave a new list of questions (or just pass on the question list you answered) and tag a few people of your random choice (and say why you tagged them, if you have time!) (Be original and nonsensical in your question-creativity - make the blogging world a cheerful place :-) And be disastrously random.)
Now for the fun...
~Write down three facts about you - one of them is WRONG. Let your commenters guess in the comments which one is wrong (and tell them in the comments after a while)
~Answer the questions of the person who tagged you - make it all super random and interesting :-D
~Answer the questions of the person who tagged you - make it all super random and interesting :-D
Aaaand, let's get started with her questions! I'se excited, I am:)
Are there flowers in your bedroom?
I keep a vase of fake flowers on my desk, and then I have more fake flowers twined around my window pole, because I just love the fairy-tale look it gives it. Oh, and I guess I'll take this opportunity to tell you all - never let anyone tell you to not buy artificial flowers! They work wonders for decor, especially if you spritz some perfume on them from time to time:)
Who was your first - really first - (fictional) crush?
'Hem. This is so embarrassing.
*facepalm* Yes, it was Samuel West as the older Prince Caspian in the reeeaaally old Narnia movies.
…Okay, guys, keep in mind: I was, like, six years old.
What is, in your opinion, the prettiest Little House Book cover?
I really like the cover for Little Town on the Prairie, even though I don't think I've read the whole book…
On pictures, do you smile with your teeth or without?
Depends. Sometimes I do, and sometimes I decide to be difficult;)
In 'Return to Cranford' Miss Matty gets a turban. What do you think of her in a turban?
Well, since I've only seen that once *ducks*, I couldn't really say. I think I remember it looking nice, but rather out-of-place in a period drama like Return to Cranford.
Did you get fooled this year on April the 1st?
I don't think so, actually! Win!
Do you think it's rude when girls re-do their whole hairstyle in public?
Um…no…I didn't even know that there were people who did, hehe. I mean, I guess I can see it getting annoying/distracting depending on the setting, but no, it doesn't really bother me.
I like this. This is pretty.
What's your least favourite song in 'The Sound of Music?'
Yikes, that's tough:( Probably one of the nuns' songs. I'm all for awesome Latin chants, but I prefer the slower kind, I suppose. The ones in the movie version of SoM are just not the ones I'd really choose to listen to on a regular basis. I'm also not all that fond of the "there's a sad sort of clanging/cuckoo" part in "So Long, Farewell."
Do you chew your inside cheeks when you're thinking?
No, but I do chew them when I'm trying to keep from laughing. Works wonders, that trick.
Your how-many-ienth post is this?
I think it's my ninety-sixth. I know. Rather pathetic, seeing as how I've had this blog since fall of 2013 *ahem*
What's your favourite Dickens movie?
*heavy sigh* Oh, boy. Girlies, I must now tell you something. I'm not that fond of Dickens. Yes, he's amazing and incredible and all that jazz, but he's just not my favorite. And I'm even less fond of the movie adaptations *cough cough* I lovelovelove the book Bleak House, and I did enjoy what I was able to see of the movie, but other than that…not really. I wasn't even that fond of Little Dorrit. So, I guess…Bleak House. But I plan to watch Great Expectations soon, so that might change.
What should you be doing right now?
Do it. ;-)
Tally-ho, old sport, message received and all that rot;)
My two truths and a lie
~ The Fox and the Hound was my favorite Disney movie growing up
~ I've had appendicitis twice
~ I'm a vegetarian
Have fun guessing;)
Now…as to questions! Here are my list of questions for those whom I'll tag:D
~ Animated movies - what's your opinion?
~ Do you prefer earbuds or headphones?

I tag:
You're free to not do it if you'd rather not, but if you do, I look forward to reading your answers!:)
Oh how fun. I love this! Your answers were great.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever actually seen a Dickens movie, so. o.o Don't feel bad.
Hm...which is a lie, which is a lie... I'm going to go with you being a vegetarian? But that's a totally random guess.
This tag is so fun, thank you SO much for tagging me!!!
By the way, I adore the new look of your blog! It's simply gorgeous. I haven't been active over here though because there doesn't seem to be a follow button anywhere and if blogs don't pop up on my dashboard I forget to go to them. :( So if you decide to put up the follow widget I'd LOVE to follow you properly so I won't miss all the Rivendell goodness.
Thanks again for passing this my way! <3
Haha, I'm glad there's someone else out there who doesn't LOVE Dickens;)
DeleteHee, nope, I actually AM a vegetarian;) But good guess!
Aww, thanks! The problem is, I've only been able to figure out putting up follow buttons for email and Bloglovin'--I've tried to add the followers gadget and it hasn't really worked:( Any advice would be appreciated!
Of course! I look forward to reading your answers:D
ok long comment time...
ReplyDeleteOHMYGOSH him! Yes!! Me too!! Wowzers..
I can't believe I read that as favourite part. That's so embarrising..
AHHHHH I forgot the two truths and a lie...... eeeeeeeeeek I'll say you are a vegetarian is your lie! :)

~ Do you have flowers in your room (yes, yes, I'm stealing this question from ya, Naomi)?
No.. Hayfever wrecks the mood.
~ Do you like the sound of keys on a keyboard clicking?
Sort of I prefer a typewriter :D
~ Who is one fictional character whom you absolutely loathe with a burning passion? *evil grin*
George Wickham.. although the actor in 1995 P&P was too handsome for the role
;)
~ Are you a procrastinator?

DeleteHaha, nope, I do happen to be a vegetarian:D
Eek, thanks for doing the questions! Ohh, Angelina Ballerina was one of my favorite things growing up XD
Ooo...what fun! I will guess that the false is that you had appendicitis twice? I have no clue!
ReplyDeleteI actually did have appendicitis twice when I was younger;( Thanks for doing the tag! I'm going to pop over to your blog and comment:D
DeleteI'm guessing it's false that The Fox and the Hound was your favourite Disney movie growing up (just because that's the one that sounds the least false and you want us all to get trapped. :-))
ReplyDeleteThank you for answering my totally random questions, Olivia!
I'm not that fond of Dickens, either, but I do like his stories and I LOOOOVE Little Dorrit. :-) And boy, that man creates awesome plots.
I agree, the turban looked quite out-of-place. :-) Oh yeah, the cuckoo part in So Long Farewell isn't that amazing. :-) But I still like it... (suddenly realised that least-favourite-song question is quite unfair. :-P)
~ Naomi
Haha, good job, Naomi! You're correct;)
DeleteThanks for tagging me! I do love a tag:D
Haha, yes, dreadfully unfair. After all...it IS The Sound of Music;)
Okay, first of all, I love your James McAvoy gif. :-) He used to be my favorite actor a few years ago. Yes, I used to be a ridiculous fan of his. I am not ashamed of my James McAvoy days. ;-P
ReplyDeleteYou don't like Charles Dickens!!!! *gasp* I will try to understand. ;-P As a writer, I find his books slightly difficult to follow...make that very difficult. But his actual storylines are gold. But really, I'm not a huge fan of Jane Austen in general, so I get you. But with that said, LITTLE DORRIT IS AMAZING. Have you ever tried Our Mutual Friend? That's probably my second-favorite. Paul McGann is...wonderful. :-) Oh, be still my heart!
Get out-- Samuel West was Prince Capsian?!? Bwahahaha. He looks ridiculous. I had a terrible crush on Ben Barnes as Prince Caspian when I was a young sprout. Heh. I'm not exactly proud of my Ben Barnes days. ;-P
Isn't this a fun tag? Enjoyed reading your answers!
~Emma
Heehee, thanks. I was excited when I found it;)
DeleteNope, can't say he's my favorite (with the exception of Bleak House and the end of ATOTC). Oh, I agree, he was a genius! I haven't tried Our Mutual Friend yet, but I will eventually, most likely (my only qualm is that it might ruin '08 Sense and Sensibility for me...)! :D
*cough* Yeeaah...I'm not proud of my Samuel West days, either...
The end of A Tale of Two Cities is soooooo good! Ahhhh! It makes the whole book worth reading. I didn't actually like it very much until the very end. I could hardly handle the epicness.
DeleteOh yeah, there's Mr. Headstone....a warning, he is SUPER creepy. *shivers* But the whole thing is just so good, it's worth it.
Right?! I didn't really enjoy it other than the ending, either, but that ending!!!0.0
DeleteHaha, okay, duly warned. But I feel I must tell you that Paul McGann/Eugene Wrayburn looks pretty creepy to me, too:-P
Thanks for tagging me! I accept!
ReplyDeleteYay! Looking forward to reading your answers, Chloe!!
DeleteThis is such a fun tag!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the cover of Little Town too. I think it will be my answer for the tag.
-GASP- You didn't like Little Dorrit????? I am shocked. Shocked!
What didn't you like about LD? I can understand how Dickens isn't your favorite, though. Sometimes you have to be in the right mood. :)
Heehee, it's okay, I'm just being a bit dramatic. :)
I'm going to guess your false fact is that you are a vegetarian.
Oh, and guess what? I've been on blogger since fall of 2013, too! You beat me by about 15 posts. So don't feel bad, you're obviously a more productive blogger than me! :( haha
DeleteYes, isn't it pretty? I like all the color, and the kitten, of course;)
DeleteHeheh, I knew some people would be:D Okay, what I didn't like about LD...well, first, I do love certain parts and certain characters (I mean, SPARKLER AND PANCKS!). But I guess my overall thing with it was that it was just so...creepy. I mean, they filmed it in such an exaggerated, psychological way that it kind of lost a lot of charm for me:( Plus, I think perhaps I watched it at an inopportune time, 'cause it really depressed me, hehe. I mean, Rigaud... Miss what's-her-name-who-was-super-weird... the suicide... It kinda just did me in:( But like I said, some places were just priceless. Especially the precious ending *siiigh* :D
I am a vegetarian, actually;)
Haha, twinsies! I don't know, for awhile there I just wasn't very productive:-/ Must be because my blog was private at first? I dunno.
Yes, Sparkler and Pancks are such fun characters! I also love (other than Arthur and Amy) John, Flora, and the Italian guy. :) He is sooooo adorably funny.
DeleteUgh Rigaud. Creepiest villain ever, in my opinion. That guy needed to be locked up for life.
The ending is sooooooooo soooooo worth it though. -happy sigh- And they actually show their wedding!!! -cries happy tears-
Yes, I love all of those characters, too! Especially Flora and Cavaletto (I think that's his name, that is), just because they make me laugh:D
DeleteYeeeaaaahh...I ALMOST - key word, ALMOST - liked him in the end scene, but....he needed to go:P
I know!!!! And they're just so cute:D
Tag accomplished! Thank you for tagging me!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess that you haven't had appendicitis twice. Maybe. I did see above that you are indeed a vegetarian, so maybe that's cheating, but oh well. ;)
Oh, yay! I'll have to go over and read your answers!:)
DeleteHehe, good guess, but I have actually had appendicitis twice;)
Oooooh, thanks for tagging me! I shall have fun answering your questions!
ReplyDeleteOf course, Abigail! I look forward to reading them:)
DeleteI am not that fond of Dickens either. It's okay. We can be outcasts together.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #3 is wrong.
Haha, yes, loners together.
Delete#3 is actually one of the truths;) The lie is #1.
The Fox and the Hound is possibly my least-favorite movie of all time, so, um... yay? :-)
DeleteYeah...we never really watched FatH. We had it, but I think one viewing pretty much did it for us.
DeleteI never watched it until I got to college. I had the record version, and it made me cry so hard, I begged my parents to hide it. Watched it one time, my freshman year of college, and sobbed through the whole thing.
DeleteHere are my answers!
