So I Changed My Blog Look...Again...

Okay, so, I know I changed my design fairly recently, but something about it wasn't sitting quite rightly with me (maybe it was a little too...pinky/color-y?)

Anyway, as you can see, I've changed it. And never fear, I know my header is too big, and I'll be working to adjust it.  What do you think of the new look itself, though?  It took me forever to come up with a header with which I was reasonably satisfied, and I'm still not sure about it.  Part of me really likes it and part of me is skeptical.  What do you all think?

  1. I like the blue a lot! Yeah the header is kind of big but I love it besides that. :)
I need to redo my blog layout. I'm not a big pink girl but somehow that's the layout I've stuck with for about a year now. :(

    2. I'd love to tell you how I make my headers! Even though they're not that great, so it's sweet of you to ask:) It's a bit of a long answer, though, so either you can comment your email and delete the comment, and then I'll email you the instructions for how I do it, or I can just make a comment:) Up to you!

Yeah, it takes me FOREVER when I decide to change my look, because I'm all persnickety and I can't seem to get what I'd like from my head to the computer:-/

    1. Yay!

Aww, thanks! It was a little complicated. See, I usually use PicMonkey to make my headers. For this one, I finally figured out that I had to edit just one picture (Cinderella's dress). I went to overlays and clicked on "Your Own", which allowed me to put the other pictures on top. Then I was able to fade it out and play with different filters and erase the edges to make it look a little more ragged. Whew! Once I figured it out, it wasn't that tough, but it took me a long time:)

  5. Your header is very lovely! I'm sure you worked quite hard on it to get all that overlay, but to be honest, I think it would be just stunning in simplicity with the Cinderella dress and shoe! But it looks good. I like how you have your blog title and description in this header.

    1. Thanks! Yes, that's the thing...I wanted to somehow incorporate the whole "stories" thing, but at the same time, just the one picture would probably be really striking and dramatic. I guess I'll have to play with it and see. Thanks for your input!

Comments make my day. Seriously. I'd be so happy if you commented. :)

I've gotten really bad about replying in a timely manner, but it's always my intention to do so eventually. (Even though it doesn't always happen. ;))
