New Look for Western Week!

So, Legends of Western Cinema Week being a matter of mere days away, I put together a Western-themed header for the party!:D

(Yes, I know.  It's extremely Western.  But 't'will only be for the week.)  What think you all?  I was going to wait until July 27, but then I was making headers for later in the year and I thought, oh, what the heck, why not just unveil it now?  Hope you all like it!  I know it's a bit of a stretch for anyone not really interested in Westerns, but…I do promise that there's a more, um, conservatively varied one for after LoWCW:)

  1. I love your header! I don't know of too many Western movies for this Western Week thing... But I love to make western costumes so that makes up for it....right?

So I don't even have to tell you how gorgeous this is, but I'm going to. IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL! So sunny and golden and wholesome and...AAAHHHHH. LOVE it, girl. And I'm totally okay with you keeping it up longer than WW, just so you know. :-)

Now I REALLY want to make a western-themed header of my own. Hmmm....

    1. Thanks, Bekah!! Yeah, I'm starting to think that I might. 'Cause my next one is extremely fall-themed, and it might be a good idea to leave this one up for a while to ease into fall before changing it:)

  5. Ooops! Sorry. That was me that just commented from a different computer. I was signed in, but it's doing this crazy thing where it still doesn't recognize it's *me* when I go to comment someplace. Sigh.

Anyhow. As I was saying, I LOVE the western header and as far as I'm concerned you can leave it up as long as you like! ;D

  12. Ok something really funny about Viggo and Hidalgo. He bought one of the horses that played Hidalgo (I think it was the main horse) and he rode the horse down the Red Carpet. Here is a link to a pic of it.

Just to comment on Bailey's comment above… I believe Viggo Mortensen also bought the horse that played Brego from lord of the rings.

    2. Yes he did and he also bought Asfaloth for Arwen's stunt double. She wasn't able to afford the horse when he went on auction and Viggo bought him for her.

I've gotten really bad about replying in a timely manner, but it's always my intention to do so eventually. (Even though it doesn't always happen. ;))
